  For employees who directly affect hazardous material transportation safety. This includes any individual who:

-Loads, unloads or handles hazardous materials (HAZMATS);
-Tests, reconditions or repairs HAZMAT containers;
-Prepares HAZMAT for transportation (labels, shipping papers);
-Operates a vehicle containing HAZMATS;
-Is responsible for transportation safety of HAZMATS.

This is a tri-ennial training requirement with an initial deadline of 10/1/93. SRSI provides general awareness and safety training. With employee job descriptions, the required task-specific training can be provided as well.           For employees who may witness or respond to a HAZMAT or Hazardous Waste incident. Our courses stress hands-on participation to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to handle HAZMAT incidents. Training ranges from 8-hour awareness level to 40-hour HAZMAT Technician and satisfies the OSHA 1910.120 training requirements.   Resource Conservation and Recovery Act        
          For employees responsible for handling or disposing of hazardous wastes. This training stresses an overview of applicable hazardous waste regulations (classification, storage, labeling, shipping, disposal and record-keeping) specific to your facility operations. Due to the ever-changing nature of these regulations, we place an emphasis on the proper use of resource materials.
